Garmin Internship

For six weeks, I have the amazing opportunity to shadow Tom Patterson and Kim Brody at Garmin International in Olathe, Kansas. These two people are Leadership Specialists and train people in the company to be better leaders. On the first day there, I was automatically pushed into the training world head first and observed a class that was meant to boost team performance. It is a class that Mr. Patterson put together, and he said that it's very popular. I also spoke with Mrs. Brody, and she is very helpful as far as giving me plenty of resources and even inviting me to one of her events with a leadership group. I'm so excited for this adventure and have already learned so much.
